The Telephone System is the Lifeline of Your Business!!

Are you looking at purchasing a new telephone system for your business? There are many options of equipment to consider, I would like to tell you the most important ones that are crucial to your decision.
Initially, you must consider name recognition for the brand that you choose. There are many names on the market some brands have even been around for over 100 years!!. If a company has been around that long, it probably means they make a solid product that people have come to rely on time and time again.
Second, you should consider the features of the system and how easy they are to use. In my 15 years in the communications industry that is a large stickler for my new customers who are considering buying a new telephone system- ease of use.
Price is always the topic that comes up next. The old saying, "you get what you pay for" holds true for this type of purchase as well. You don't have to empty your bank account and you don't want to buy the cheapest system either. The middle of the road is your best value. You should also ask for financing options for your new telephone system. Most reputable companies should offer you leasing as an option to paying cash.
Reliability is probably the most important factor of all. If your phone system is down, your business is down! Like I always say to my clients, "You want to put it in and forget about it". Ask for quantitative reliability data for the system. If they cannot produce it, chances are they are not as reliable as they might say.
Lastly, ask for references from your telephone system provider. Their customers will tell you how they responded to their needs and requests for service.
